Our Service

 

We offer term time childcare to children who attend Battlefield Primary. We currently have places for 40 children, all of which are taken. However, we do operate a waiting list and work in partnership with Mount Florida ASC who collect children from Battlefield Primary and provide a similar service. We prepare a range of activities to suit the different ages of the children, designed to meet their needs, likes and interests. Weather permitting, the children are taken outside daily where they can take in the fresh air and run off some steam!! Children are involved in the planning process and are given a voice within the service. We aim to make the children feel happy and safe in a nurturing envionment where they can take part in physical activities, social activities, interactive ICT - or if they would rather have a little calm time, we offer a quiet area where they can read or watch a DVD. 

 

Healthy snacks are provided and on special occasions we have treats! 

 

 

Opening Hours

 

Mon - Fri 3.00pm to 5.45pm

 

Children make their way from the classroom to the afterschool care service. A register is taken and any children who are not accounted for will be sought. Parents must notify BPASCA if their child will not be in attendance on a particular day or if they have been taken home from school early. Non notification will result in an admin fee. 

 

If a child is not collected by 5.45pm an additonal fee will be charged. 

 

Fees

 

Fees are paid by bank transfer or standing order one month in advance. They are calculated across a ten month period with the first payment due on August 1st of the forthcoming academic year.  

 

Costs for the academic year 2013/14 are £8.50 per child per day. Childcare vouchers welcome. 

 

Our admin assistant will issue all service users with an account of their monthly fees.
