Holiday Club

 

At BPASCA, we know that you might need to work during the school holidays, or perhaps take a wee bit of time off for yourself, too! That's why we operate holiday clubs during October week, at Easter and in summer.

 

We're open to parents in the area, so your children don't have to attend Battlefield Primary to join in the fun. 

 

We've got tons of activities and days out to entertain every child. Our varied programme of organised events include trips to the beach at Ayr, cycling tours around Millport and days out at Glasgow's beautiful local parks. We always have a Plan B for rainy days too, from outings to museums to trips to see the latest movies.   

 

If we're not out and about, the fun comes to us! Visiting speakers and guests are invited to educate and enthuse the children. In previous years we've had visits from The Dogs Trust, the Fire Brigade and Goals football centre to name but a few. 

 

At the school we also provide a wide range of outdoor and indoor play, arts and crafts, sports in the playground or gym hall, construction, Wii, DVDs, baking, jewellery making and lots, lots more!

What are your opening times?

 

Our clubs operate every weekday from 8.30am until 5.45pm.

 

What do I need to bring?

 

While we always have healthy snacks for children, parents are asked to provide a packed lunch as well as a small amount of pocket money for treats, ice creams etc. Weather appropriate clothing and footwear is also required. 

 

How much is it? 

 

Fees are currently £21 per day per child. If we plan to go on an exceptional day out, some additional charges may be necessary. If you're new to the service, you will be asked to complete a registration form which incurs a £20 admin cost. All fees are payable in advance and accounts will be issued by our admin assistant. Childcare vouchers are accepted.
